Privacy Policy

This site is run by Board Support Services. I keep things simple, and that goes for privacy too. This page explains what information the site touches and what happens to it.

What I collect. If you use the enquiry form, you give me your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to leave one, what you need help with and your message, and whether you are enquiring as a business or an individual. If you email me directly, I receive whatever you choose to send.

What happens to it. Your enquiry is delivered straight to my email inbox by an email delivery service called Resend. A copy is also kept in my enquiries inbox by the company that looks after this website, and deleted after two years. I use it to reply to you, and for nothing else. I do not sell it, share it or add you to a mailing list.

Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics to understand how people use it. Google Analytics works through cookies and similar identifiers. The site also sets one cookie of its own that remembers how you found it, like a Google search or a link from Instagram. It lasts 30 days and holds nothing about who you are. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Spam protection. The enquiry form may use Google reCAPTCHA to keep automated spam out. reCAPTCHA is a Google service and operates under Google's privacy policy.

Hosting. The site is hosted with Vercel and images are served through Sanity. Like most websites, the servers keep standard technical logs, things like IP addresses and browser types. Some of the services named on this page store information outside Australia.

Booking. If you book a time with me through this site, the booking runs through Microsoft Bookings, which operates under Microsoft's terms and privacy policy.

Listening. The podcast episodes and the interview on this site play in a Spotify or YouTube player that operates under that service's terms and privacy policy. Each player can set its own cookies. The Spotify player sets them as soon as its page opens, before you press play.

Changes. If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
